Beth Ziss began her art career exploring many types of media including oil painting, photography, and pottery. After early experimentation with glass, she found her passion. Her long career in glass has produced unique, beautiful stained glass panels and mosaics, as well as functional and wearable art.
Beth says, "I love the way glass can be transparent, translucent, opaque, jewel like, luminous, radiant, and reflective. The variety of colors and the way glass can be manipulated is endless". Ziss has won numerous awards from various U.S. states and was chosen to display glass work twice in the Toledo Museum of Art in Toledo, OH.
Her work is on display and for sale at Angelwood Gallery in Grand Rapids, OH and Gallery 22 in Delaware, OH.
