Beth Ziss began her art career exploring many types of media including oil painting, photography, and pottery. After early experimentation with glass, she found her passion. Throughout her long career in glass she has produced unique, beautiful stained glass panels and mosaics,
as well as functional and wearable art.
Beth says, "I love the way glass can be transparent, translucent, opaque, jewel like, luminous, radiant, and reflective. The variety of colors and the way glass can be manipulated is endless". Ziss has won numerous awards from various U.S. states and has been chosen to display her glass work twice at the Toledo Museum of Art in Toledo, OH.
